About Curacao

See what makes Curaçao unique! Exquisite beaches and spectacular diving, stunning architecture, activities and adventures for every interest, plus a multi-cultural diversity, intriguing music, art and cuisine.

European Charm combined with Caribbean Flair!

Curaçao is a truly unique island in the Southern Caribbean, located off the coast of Venezuela between its sister islands Aruba and Bonaire, below the Hurricane belt. The blend of Caribbean flavor and European charm makes this island a real gem among the other Caribbean islands.

Down Town Willemstad

The main town of Willemstad with its European architecture and fascinating history is one of the most truly interesting and beautiful towns in the Caribbean. Designated an UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Willemstad waterfront with its brightly painted buildings, is a pastel postcard of old Amsterdam. The town also houses the oldest synagogue in continuous use in the Western Hemisphere, lovingly cared for by a more than 350 year old local Jewish community. The deep natural harbor splits this city into two districts; Punda - great for shopping - and Otrobanda - with two major musea. On both sides of the harbor you will be able to eat your heart out at one of the superb international restaurants.

Tropical Curacao

The beautiful reef along the south coast of the island, accessible by boat or by one of the forty small and unique beaches, allows for excellent snorkeling and scuba diving. Above the water, the rugged charm of the natural environment provides the perfect scene for off-road adventures. The climate is warm and sunny year round, even the water temperature does not drop below 77ºF (25ºC).

Whether you are looking for a fun ‘beach’-destination or a destination that radiates culture and class, Curaçao offers it all!
