Curacao is home to over 40 beaches and so-called 'boka's that are scattered mostly along the South Coast of the island. You will notice, after having visited a few of these beaches, the diverse atmospheres, geological origin and the way in which they are used by the local population.
Some of our treasured beaches are still used by fishermen, who will often arrive early in the day, their wooden dinghies full of fresh fish, that is cleaned and sold right there on the beach. Other beaches are mostly used by scuba divers, as the coral underground - not so comfortable for beach lounging - is a sure indicator for a thriving reef just steps from the waterline. If you want to feel spoiled, visit one of our white sandy beaches with all the facilities; comfortable beach beds, outdoor massages, excellent beach bars and exciting water sport activities.
Apart from the hotel front beaches, that are usually not open to the general public, we have selected several beaches that are all unique in their own right!
