Klein Curacao Beach |
Jump aboard one of the many boats heading out to this little sandplate called Klein Curacao - a few miles off the coast of Curacao. You are welcomed by a pristine white sandy beach and, if you are lucky, some members of the local sea turtle family. Head over to the other side of the island for some beach combing, visit the old light-house, or simply lay your head in the warm sand. |

Playa Canoa is not a typical beach for the island. For one, it is located on the rugged north side, where the waves are brutal. With no facilities and a nice swell the beach has been home to the surfer crowd for quite a while. There are no facilities, so if you are not a surfer, the area is more suitable for a pleasant stroll than a swim. |
