After being picked up at your hotel the first area that you will drive to is the historical down-town Punda area. It is famous for its Handelskade (trade quay) that resembles Old Amsterdam canal houses in tropical pastel colors.
Curacao has an old Jewish community that has always played an important role in the local community. Just outside Punda you will see the Jewish neighborhood 'Scharloo' with its elegant wedding cake mansions.
In Landhouse Chobolobo you will be able to taste the drink that has given Curacao international fame; the Blue Curacao Liqueur. The factory still produces the original orange liqueur in all colors of the rainbow and even in some alternative flavors.
The tour is concluded with a nice roundtrip over the east end of the island, where you will dream of owning a house on the Spanish Water lagoon, visit the souvenirshop on the island with the nicest view to finally take some pictures from the top of the Fort Nassau.
