Is there anything better than spending the day on the beach? Well, yes, spending the day at three beaches!
This wonderful and comfortable bus tour brings you to the three most beautiful beaches of Curacao. After being picked up at your hotel we'll drive to the rural west side of the island, with its hilly landscape and the occational plantation house overlooking the land.
The first stop will be the undeveloped and pristine great Knip Beach. This beach is located almost at the most western tip of the island. The wide bay is very sheltered and makes for relaxed swimming in the crystal clear water.
On we go down the coast to Cas Abao Beach. This beach has more facilities and while one side resembles Knip with its fine white sand the other part offers abundant shade underneath the trees that have adapted to their salty soil. Snorkel gear and even ocean kayaks can be rented here.
You can order a light lunch at Cas Abao, or do so at the next stop, Porto Mari, which is only about 15 minutes away. Porto Mari is part of a former plantation and is very well known among scuba divers for its double reef. There is a snorkel trail and snorkel gear can be rented right there. Afraid of fish? No worries, at Porto Mari there are beach beds, a nice restaurant and you can even get a beach massage!
After Porto Mari we'll drive back to town, but not before taking a peek to see if the flamingos are home at the salt flats at Willebrord.
